V14.2.1 // Warfront Balance Hotfix

AUTHORITATIVE C# + BROADCAST EVENT BRIDGE

V14.2.1 keeps the V14.2 economy and migration-safe careers while tightening the Warfront, making the D1 result path immediate, and publishing the complete expedition event stream for the OBS browser overlay.

Objective-Led Territory

KIA counts as one effective casualty and WIA as one-half. Survival without objective success no longer guarantees control, while clean secondary and classified objectives drive positive gains.

No-Show Pressure

A missed scheduled launch now removes 1% control from every unlocked sector, keeping hostile factions active when Command does not field a crew.

Deterministic Mission Choice

If no operator votes, Command commits to Contract A so the hourly cycle always has a clear default mission instead of an ambiguous board result.

Direct Command Results

The one-second website bridge posts accepted and rejected command results directly to D1, allowing the terminal to reconcile without waiting for the full public status mirror.

Native OBS Events

Streamer.bot Custom.CodeEvent messages now cover formation, stages, combat, objectives, bosses, drops, Nemesis activity, Warfront movement, extraction and report timing.

Synchronized Chat Report

The overlay receives mission_complete before report_ready, finishes the extraction animation, then releases the one-time After Action Report. A three-minute fallback remains active when OBS is unavailable.

V14.2.0 // Dynamic Warfront

REALTIME COMMANDS + CAMPAIGN REBALANCE

V14.2 combines the Operator Command Center realtime command work with a slower, bidirectional Warfront. D1 is required for interactive website commands so the one-second bridge never falls back to KV list polling.

Instant-feeling Website Actions

Buy, sell, vote, equip, clear, kit purchase and crafting update optimistically in the browser immediately. Streamer.bot remains authoritative and returns a direct D1-backed confirmation snapshot.

1-Second Command Bridge

The dedicated Det Cord Website Bridge can run every 1 second when the DETCORD_COMMANDS D1 binding is present. The hourly expedition timer remains 60 seconds and is not executed by the fast bridge path.

No KV Command Fallback

V14.2 deliberately returns an empty/503 realtime-command response when D1 is missing rather than calling KV list(). This prevents the daily KV list quota failure observed during fast polling.

Dynamic Warfront

Survival alone no longer guarantees territory. Clean objective victories gain ground; failed objectives can produce zero gain; severe casualties, wipes and escaped bosses can lose ground.

Diminishing Returns

Positive territory gains are reduced as control rises. At 95–99% control a sector can gain at most +1 per expedition, making SECURED status a meaningful final push.

Enemy Counteroffensives

After expeditions, hostile factions can strike other unlocked sectors. Dominant and secured sectors are valid targets, so the campaign remains active instead of freezing at 100% everywhere.

Strategic Mission Board

Contract A is FRONTLINE-focused, Contract B is DEFENSE-focused, and Contract C is an OPPORTUNITY route. Cards show current sector control/state, strategic priority, clean-victory estimate and heavy-loss risk.

Sector States + Benefits

OCCUPIED, HOSTILE, CONTESTED, ADVANTAGE, DOMINANT and SECURED states are published to the Command Center. Benefits activate at 90%+: Helios Armory discount, Graveyard Scrap bonus, Null Meridian Intel bonus, Ashen Alien Tech bonus and Veiled blueprint bonus.

Fabrication Inventory

The Fabrication Bay continues to show current Scrap, Alien Tech, Flux Components, Weapon Parts and Det Cord, plus Owned / Required resources and current inventory for every recipe output.

Migration Safe

Career XP, Det Cord, inventory, roles, relics, materials, existing Warfront controls, Black Box history and Nemesis state remain in their existing Streamer.bot variables.
